DESCRIPTION

Son of a Gecko is the first team project I worked on at the AIE, it was a 6 Week project. Son of a Gecko is a Singleplayer Top-Down Shooter. I was responsible on designing/laying out the level, set dressing the entire level, designing the mechanics, and balancing the mechanics.

  • Set up Player Stats (Health, Speed, Damage, Attack Speed, etc)

  • Set up all Explosive Barrel Positions, Damage Stats, AOE, and Respawn time

  • Set up Enemy Spawn Points

  • Set up Enemy Wave System

  • Set up Enemy Seagull Stats (Health, Speed, & Damage)

  • Set up Enemy Hippo Stats (Health, Speed, & Damage)

  • Set up Boss Hippo Stats (Health, Speed, & Damage)

  • Balance changes on Enemy Stats

  • Balance changes to Player Stats

  • Rework changes on Level Design Layout

  • Assisted Schedule Management with the entire team
